
The National Scout Jamboree will take place at in July of, 2010 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Scouting. It will be 10 days of non-stop fun and activity for 40,000+ Scouts from all over the United States and the world. The Council plans to take nearly 200 scouts from all over the council.
The Winnebago Council hosts High-Adventure scouting activities throughout the year. These activities, like all scout activities, are designed to be fun while teaching important life skills, teamwork, and self esteem. Generally these are designed for the older scouts who have earned the rank of First Class. Some programs have age requirements as well.
