Winnebago Scout Reservation - Cub Scout Summer Camps WSR Camp Staff

Located just outside of Marble Rock, Iowa, WSR (Winnebago Scout Reservation) offers swimming, hiking, camping, shooting sports, BMX bikes, pedal derby cars, and large group activity areas. Other camping opportunities are scheduled as they are developed and then put on the council website calendar or camping page.

Special 100th Anniversary of Scouting events include but are not limited to the following:

  • *June 18/20 – “Adventure Base 100” at the Freedom Festival in Cedar Rapids
  • *July 31st – “Shining Light”
  • *August 27/29 – District Camporees
  • *September 24/26 – Camp-to-Camp Bike Ride, W.S.R. to Ingawanis
  • *October 1/3 – All Jamboree Reunion Weekend at Ingawanis
  • *November 5/7 – All Wood Badge ‘Critters’ Reunion at W.S.R.

  • More outdoors activities/events are being planned and information will be shared as details are confirmed. Units/Districts are also scheduling special activities during 2010.
